William P. Hobby International Airport (KHOU/HOU) is a public-owned airport southwest of Houston, Texas. Hobby is the oldest commercial airport in the Houston area and was the primary commercial airport until 1969 when George Bush Intercontinental Airport opened.
Southwest operates 85 percent of the 26 available gates and is one of five major air carriers to serve Hobby.
Hobby Airport is radar controlled by Houston TRACON and Houston ARTCC. | |
