Events Details

Just before Christmas, the FAA approved Southwest Airlines' ETOPS-related procedures and manuals for the purpose of commercial flights to Hawaii. The next phase for Southwest is to perform validation flights on the routes Southwest intends to fly. Southwest Airlines and the vFAA have asked that we get to work too.

Head over to Oakland (KOAK), where we will fly our first validation flight to Honolulu (PHNL). Pushback is at 22:59Z.

This flight should be flown online using VATSIM. We will be attending the HCF FNO.
