The training department will be holding an instructor recruiting session on our Discord on Saturday, July 15th at 1300 CDT. At this session, we will be discussing the duties, responsibilities, and expectations of our instructor team. Additionally, we will discuss the application and interview process. The instructor candidate requirements are as follows:

Minimums:
• The rank of Second Officer or higher
• A VATSIM rating of P-2 or above
• 18 years of age at the time of selection

Preferred:
• An FAA Certificate (Private, Instrument, Commercial, Airline Transport Pilot)
• An FAA Instructor Rating (CFI, CFI-I, MEI, AGI)
• Any current or former military flight instructor or examiner
• Any pilot that meets the minimum requirements and has formal teaching or instructor experience or credentials.
